HAWK MOUNTAIN SCOUT RESERVATION

Hawk Mountain Council maintains a year around camp, Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation, 700 acres of forest, lake and streams, dedicated to offering Scouts the chance to experience the beauty of the out-of-doors. These facilities are for use by Scouts and Scouters from the Hawk Mountain Council and visiting units from outside our Council. Non-Scouting groups are also welcome to utilize our facilities. In addition to year-round camping, the camp is the center for training adult leaders in the programs of Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing and Commissioner Service.

Camp Meade is our long-term Boy Scout Camp.  The summer camp operation runs for seven weeks during June, July and August. Reservations for the camping year can be made by contacting the Hawk Mountain Council office (610) 926-3406 during regular business hours.

Camp Duportail is the home for our Cubs and Webelos camping experience. The camp offers a seven-week day camp program. Beginning their day at 8:50 AM the Scouts work on their Wolf, Bear, and Webelos advancements. The day also offers swimming and instruction at North Pool, a round at the archery or BB range, craft instruction at the Hofmann Cub Activity Building. Lunchtime finds the Cubs in their own dining hall where beverages are provided. A full service trading post and health lodge are located in the day camp.
