Hawk Mountain Council Mandatory Training Requirements

(updated January 2019)

Every youth deserves a trained leader. For years that has been a common credo among Scout leaders at all levels. We all commit significant portions of our time and talents to the Scouting program; all with the common goal of offering the best possible program to the youth who look to us for leadership. In 2015, the Council Executive Committee and Board, approved a required training policy, which will insure that all leaders in traditional scouting programs are trained in their leadership positions. For each position, leaders will need to have completed the appropriate training (listed below) in order to renew their membership in the Hawk Mountain Council.
