Frontier District Awards
Each calendar year the Frontier district recognizes volunteers that go above and beyond to provide leadership, dedication, and invaluable service to the youth in their units, the district, and the council.
You can find a list of previous award winners here. We are working to update and maintain this list more accurately. If you can help provide and/or correct information please contact us.
The Frontiersman Award is presented yearly to recognize worthy adults. Any adult registered and serving at the unit level is eligible to receive the award. Every Frontier District (Pack, Troop, or Crew) is entitled to select ONE adult per year to receive the award. The unit committee should screen, select, and forward the response form to the Frontier District, Hawk Mountain Council, BSA.
District Award of Merit
Available to registered Scouters who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level. You can download a nomination form.
Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council. The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self-sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service. It is given to those who do not actively seek it.
